Effects of Deep Vertical Rotary Tillage Management Methods on Soil Quality in Saline Cotton Fields in Southern Xinjiang

چکیده
A long-term high-saline soil environment will limit the improvement of quality and cotton yield. Modified tillage management measures can improve quality, establishment a evaluation system facilitate land production potential in southern Xinjiang. The objective this study was to determine effects different methods on saline fields three-year experiment conducted Tumushuke, Xinjiang, with deep vertical rotary depths (DTM20, 20 cm; DTM40, 40 DTM60, 60 cm) conventional (CTM, cm). index (SQI) under established by using full dataset (TDS) scoring function for eight indicators, including physicochemical properties from 0 cm, evaluate its impact farmland results showed that effectively optimize structure; reduce bulk density (BD), solution conductivity (EC), pH; promote accumulation organic carbon (SOC) total nitrogen (TN) soil. However, average diameter water-stable aggregates (MWD) 0–60 cm layer becomes smaller an increasing depth tillage. This does not crop yields but leaching. In addition, significant linear relationship (p < 0.001) between seed yield indicated improving favorable principal component analysis revealed BD, MWD, pH, EC as limiting sensitive indicators yield, while SOC TN were positive indicators. values DT40 DTM60 significantly higher than CTM 11.02% 15.27%, respectively. Overall, show is most suitable strategy area, approach provide reliable theoretical basis farmland.

Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) seeds are susceptible to low temperature and excess moisture in soil during seed emergence in years with high rainfall and low temperature in spring. Therefore, a two-year field experiment was carried out to evaluate effects of ridge tillage formed in autumn (RT-I), ridge tillage formed about a month before planting (RT-II) and flat conventional tillage (CT) culti...
